Local by design

LocalView processes user-selected developer files locally on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, app-managed cloud storage, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. The app makes no automatic network requests.

Your files

LocalView never uploads or syncs files. On iPhone and iPad, you select documents through Files; On My iPhone/iPad, iCloud Drive, or another provider you choose controls storage and transfer independently of LocalView. External HTTP, HTTPS, and email links open only after you explicitly activate them.

Saving and recovery

On iPhone and iPad, the system document architecture handles autosave, undo, coordination, and conflicts for the selected document. On Mac, LocalView may keep a throttled recovery draft inside its sandbox. A Mac recovery draft never overwrites the original and is removed after save, close/discard, recovery, explicit discard, or seven days.

Data collection

LocalView does not collect or transmit personal data.
